In New York City on Tuesday, Company managed to show off its latest high-end phone, the OnePlus 10 Pro. An AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate is equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC and the second generation of low-temperature polycrystalline oxide (LTPO) technology. In addition, the smartphone has triple back cameras and a hole-punch display design. Unlike the 9 Pro, which had 65W fast charging last year, the 10 Pro has up to 80W fast charging. HyperBoost technology enhances the graphics on the new OnePlus flagship. It also boasts a revolutionary design incorporating a metal center frame with 3D nano nanocrystalline ceramics.
Price and Availability
The OnePlus 10 Pro 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant costs CNY 4,699 (about Rs.54,500). The phone is also available in 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB configurations for CNY 4,999 (about Rs. 58,000) and CNY 5,299 (approximately Rs. 61,500), respectively. On the 13th of January, Chinese consumers will purchase Emerald Forest and Volcanic Black. The exact date of the OnePlus 10 Pro’s global release isn’t yet announced.
OnePlus 10 Pro Technical Specification
Android 12 and ColorOS 12.1 run on top of a 6.7-inch curved AMOLED display with a 20.1:9 aspect ratio and a dynamic refresh rate of 1Hz to 120Hz on the dual-SIM (Nano) OnePlus 10 Pro. The display also has always-on support and a peak brightness of 1300 nits.
The OnePlus 10 Pro has a 5,000mAh dual-cell battery that supports wired charging at 80W and wireless charging at 50W. The phone includes dual speakers and Dolby Atmos compatibility. It also has dimensions of 163×73.9×8.55mm and a weight of 200.5 grams.
The OnePlus 10 Pro includes a 48-megapixel Sony IMX789 main sensor with an f/1.8 lens and optical image stabilisation (OIS). In addition to the 50-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL JN1 sensor, the camera has an 8-megapixel telephoto sensor with OIS.
OnePlus stated that the OnePlus 10 Pro’s camera configuration can provide 3.3x optical zoom. It supports up to 8K video recording at 24 frames per second (frame rate). Furthermore, Hasselblad’s color optimizations support the OnePlus phone’s camera. Selfies and video chats may be taken using the smartphones front-facing camera, which features the Sony IMX615 sensor with an f/2.4 lens.
